How it all started...

Cornerstone began in 2002 when thirty people met for worship in a home not far from here. From those early gatherings, it became evident these believers had a special bond of fellowship and vision. The presence and power of Jesus Christ was evident to all in the lives being transformed. Phase one of this campus was erected in 2004, and phase two in 2008. In December 2019 the entire debt for the construction was paid off—more than $1.5 million to complete and equip this campus for ministry. Now in 2020, the vision for phase three is taking form to continue to expand God’s Kingdom through our church family.

Expanding the mission...

From the beginning we wanted to impact our community with the Christ-like compassion. "Work Camp" mobilized our members to serve  others and built a positive reputation with our neighbors.  Our local outreach has evolved into Compassion Weekends and serving para-church ministries like Camp Pitt.

Making disciples is the main thing...

Cornerstone exists to glorify God and make disciples by cultivating the abundant life of Jesus in every facet of the person and sharing this life with our community. We believe the process begins with experiencing God's love, then connecting to other believers, then using their gifts and talents to serve,  and finally mentoring others in their faith.
